Neighbor to Neighbor is the largest annual fundraiser for The Food Depot. During this friendly competition, neighborhoods, businesses, and community groups compete to raise the most money for hunger relief in Northern New Mexico. Started 12 years ago as a food drive, this volunteer-led event raised over $397,000 in 2023!
In August 2024, join us once again to make a difference as part of the Neighbor to Neighbor fund drive. Your group’s time and efforts will provide essential funds to The Food Depot as they work to bring healthy food to Northern New Mexicans. Within The Food Depot’s nine-county service area, approximately 40,00 people, including 12,000 children, do not have consistent access to healthy food. Just $1 raised during Neighbor to Neighbor can provide up to 4 meals through The Food Depot’s programs.

In Santa Fe County alone we have 15,420 food insecure people (10%), including 4,260 children (15.6%), who are hungry. The Food Depot services all 9 counties in Northern NM (26,000 square miles) where there are 40,000 food insecure people and 12,000 hungry children!! Please help The Food Depot keep the trucks full and delivering food to the hungry people in Northern NM.
