We need to finalize and implement this plan.  Back when Old Pecos Trail was being re-created as the scenic roadway we have today, I had been or was serving on the ACSyL and Sol y Lomas Homeowners Boards.  We argued strenuously at that time that Old Pecos Trail should be preserved as the scenic entryway into the City of Santa Fe.  We won that battle, but the work was not complete, and the City's commitment to the the design of the corridor was left unfulfilled.  Now is the time to correct that and move forward to bring forth that plan and complete the work begun so many years ago.  This plan will have the beneficial effect of preserving the beauty of the neighborhoods along Old Pecos Trail, and ensure that visitors, as well as we locals, will have an attractive and scenic entryway into the City of Santa Fe.
